Viennoiserie/lamination baker at Holtwhites Bakery, Palmers Green Job description: Join the team producing laminated, yeast-leavened doughs from scratch, our product range includes croissant, pasteis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts), cinnamon buns, puff pastry sausage rolls.Start early and finish early! Early shifts - finishing from mid morning, starting between 4am and 6am We can offer flexibility in the shift rotas - ideally we're looking for full time but part time options are also available.5 days a week with 2 days off (can be 2 days together) Salary from £10 per hour depending on experience Staff discount, free loaf of our artisan bread per shift, food provided for shifts longer than 7 hours, friendly team, beautiful newly refurbished site. Role requirements: Qualified/trained baker or pastry chef AND/ORA minimum of 1 years bakery production experience in a commercial bakery or kitchen Able to work well independently as well as within a teamAttention to detail and commitment to producing products to a very high quality Reliable in following procedures and recipes in bulk Must have an excellent command of the English language & already be based in the UK Able to travel to our Palmers Green site for shifts starting from 4am.Hours: 30 - 40 per week Apply by Sunday 31st October, sending CV and covering letter to our head of pastry Lesa at [email protected] Expected start date: 08/11/2021.
