Registration Administrator

Medicus Health Partners are looking for professional and enthusiastic registration administrators to support our service delivery to patients. We are the largest Super Practice in Enfield, working in 11 locations and care for over 92,000 patients. This role will be located in Edmonton, full training will be given and you will be part of a team who are passionate about healthcare. You will be a key member of the MHP team and will be responsible for handling patient registrations to and from a GP surgery – accurately recording information, monitoring output, tracking both incoming and outgoing registrations. You will be handling medical records and working at the highest levels of confidentiality. Key responsibilities are: • Monitor and respond to service user emails • Identify and escalate issues to Team Leader • Provide service information to service users • Process requests or forward appropriately • Follow up and ensure patients are registered and de-registered correctly • Follow documented procedures and attend all training • Answer phone calls and redirect calls to the appropriate individual • Data entry to record and digitise patient information • File patient records Required skills • Outstanding customer service skills and team player • Excellent data entry and typing skills (MS Office Knowledge) • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately • Knowledge of EMIS would be an advantage Part time and full time roles are available.
