You will assist the cleaning supervisor to deliver and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and are compliant with health and Safety regulations. Duties to include: Check all toilet areas for any requirements for tissue and/or hand soap and replenish as required Clean up any spillages with appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment using powders, tissues, sanitizers, mops and vacuum cleaners Wipe down all toilets and cubicle panel areas including seats, bowls, panels, tiles and ledges Clean up/pick up any litter or debris in all school corridor areas Frequent re-visits to all toilet areas after each break to check to clean up any paper on floors and to mop up any spillages. Also to replace any tissues and/or hand soaps as required Clear away any dirty crockery and/or cutlery in staff rooms after lunch and place in dishwasher unit. Put required amount of cleaning solution in and start cleaning programme cycle Collect up any re-cycling waste bags for trolley transportation to designated bin store area and place in appropriate waste bin Carry out spot cleaning to any walls, skirting boards, doors, glass and floors where needed Carry radio hand set (walkie-talkie) at all times to be available for any calls from reception and other staff to clean up spillages including urine, faeces, blood and vomit Report any equipment malfunctions for repair or replacement Use of heavy duty cleaning equipment for carpets, hard floors and sanitizing (with appropriate training) to clean various areas around the site when required To wear NSCT logo tabards issued and personal protective equipment (PPE) available to carry out the duties required.
