Job start: Required for June 2022 or ASAP Salary: NJC Scale 3 (Point 5) (Actual starting salary Pro Rata £17,152.30 - pa) Contract Type: 32 1/2 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum Contract Term: Permanent Thank you for your interest in working at West Lea School. We are seeking an experienced and well organised Welfare Assistant to join the staff at West Lea School. Our school caters for 400 pupils with special educational needs, 200 employees. We believe in a world where everyone can flourish, and this is a key role where you will be challenged to support the medical needs and welfare of the students to really make a difference. This is an exciting role where you will aid in promoting pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. The post holder will have support from the Senior Welfare Assistant and the Welfare & Medical Coordinator where needed.
