Forty Hall is a Grade 1 Listed Jacobean Manor House, nestled in leafy Enfield and set amidst an idyllic landscape.

Step in to the Hall to admire the fine architecture and stunning period rooms. Enjoy learning about the history of Forty Hall Estate through the ages and about the life of original owner Sir Nicholas Rainton. The permanent exhibition offers a range of visual and audio interpretation and displays so there are ample ways for all of the family to engage with learning about the Hall in an enjoyable way.

A range of guided tours are available for special interest groups which add value to the visit and further understanding of the Hall’s history. Tours can be themed according to interests of the group so contact us for further information.

The events and exhibition programme focuses on Art, Ecology and Heritage and is inspired by Forty Hall & Estate. With four major seasonal events a year plus many tours, talks, concerts and music festivals there is plenty to do for all the family.

Remember to visit the Gift Shop, located in the ground floor overlooking the back lawn, to pick up a memorable souvenir from your visit. Relax and unwind in the Nice Green Café and explore the gardens and parkland whilst you are here!

Forty Hall is managed by Enfield Presents, who also manage Millfield Theatre, the Dugdale, Active Enfield and Enfield Festivals.
