DAC After Hours: A Night At The Savoy Harlem Renaissance

This month features 'Sula'. Sula is a London based trio featuring three musicians from Tomorrow’s Warriors Emerging Artist Programme: drummer Miranda Radford, bassist Aleks Dimitrova, and pianist Kezia Abuoma. These exciting young musicians have been mentored by Romarna Campbell, Nikki Yeoh, and Deschanel Gordon. And, whilst they collective share inspiration from the music of Kris Davis, Kenny Kirkland and Jeff “Tain” Watts, they will be performing a special Duke Ellington set for this night celebrating the Harlem Renaissance. Join us at Dugdale Arts Centre on the last Friday of every month for exciting guest chefs, artisan cocktails and some of the best DJs and artists this side of the river.
