Book signing 5pm Adjudication of the Poetry Competition by David Constantine with prize giving and readings of the winning poems. Followed by a poetry reading by the renowned poet David Constantine. David Constantine is a Fellow of Queen's College, poet, novelist and translator of Hoelderlin, Geothe, Faust and Brecht. He has published many volumes of poems, all with the prestigious Bloodaxe Books. "An Oxford don with a dash of MacNeice's elegance in hispoetic artifice, Constantine can write allusive, brilliant lyrics which inhabit a literary as well as emotional world" (Poetry Archive) This event is part of the Enfield Poets Literary Festival. The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more.
