Learning support assistant linked to a student Closing date for applications: Wednesday 5th November 2025 Permanent, term time (34 hours x 38 weeks per year) Salary: NJC Scale 4 (actual range: £23,945.06 - £25,385.64 p.a. inc). Required: Monday 17th November 2025 Job Purpose To provide one to one support and intimate care for a student in a wheelchair. This involves escorting the student to lessons, remaining in all lessons with the student to provide learning support and supporting the student at break and lunchtimes. You will also be the first port of contact for the parent/carer. All learning support assistants are part of the learning support faculty. Learning support assistants (LSAs) play an invaluable role in helping to meet the needs of many students with SEN and ensuring they receive their curriculum by aiding the student(s) to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and individually, inside and outside of the classroom. Job Details The position is full time (34 hours per week x 38 weeks per year). The successful candidate will report to the SENCo.
