5 David did a great job replacing my garden fence. He visited several times to discuss the job and his quote was very reasonable. David worked very hard whilst he was here, and removed all rubbish at the end of each day. I am delighed with the new fence which has been completed to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending David for any similar garden work.

Fencing 5 David replaced a fence post for us and fitted some fence panels which was a tricky job that no-one else was keen to do. He turned up as arranged to look at the job and gave a very fair quote. He arranged to do the job promptly and it was completed within the price quoted. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any similar work and I will definitely use him again!

Replaced entire garden fence 5 Job completed to the highest quality and at a very competitive price. 2 days work but everything kept tidy throughout the job. All old fencing removed. So pleased I have booked ACIH in to relay my patio which has become dangerously uneven. Recommend highly

Entire Garden Fence Replacement 5 Excellent job all round; full fence replacement with high quality materials and including installation of a deck. Whole team were tidy and considerate in their work, removed all debris carefully through the house with the minimum of mess, and left the site in good condition. Very happy with end product. Fence panel replacement 5 David replaced a post and fence panel for us. He was friendly, helpful and professional, and did a very good and tidy job at a reasonable price. He also remedied a less sturdy fencing job done by a previous builder, and obviously knew what he was talking about when he explained the shortcomings of the earlier work! I have no hesitation in recommending him, and will call on him again again in future.

Purpose-built fence round wheelie bins 5 David designed and built an L-shaped fence with finials as a shelter for my wheelie bins. This involved sinking posts into mixed terrain and avoiding pipes and cables in a restricted space. The fence looks great, there is plenty of room to keep the wheelie bins and they are shielded from view. David is very knowledgeable, hard-working and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending him. I am sure I will be calling on his skills again.

Knowledgeable, friendly, honest and hardworking 5 Asked David to assess some ongoing issues with my roof and he carried out a no obligation investigation. Very reasonable quotes and is hugely knowledgeable and skilled with many aspects of building. Roof works still ongoing due to weather but he has since rebuilt and repaired by external brick stairwell (even managing to salvage and reuse all of the original brickwork) and it looks fantastic now. He's coming back to build a big decked area in my sloping garden and build a big prefab shed for me. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Very good quality of work, well priced and above all works extremely hard and tidies up after himself.

Would recommend David 5 We needed a patio, fencing and a cabin erecting, David was very obliging, it was not an easy or straightforward job especially as he started in the autumn, with the rain etc. but most days unless the weather was really awful he turned up and worked really hard. Job complete and we are very pleased, he was very neat and tidy in his work, always clearing up after himself at the end of the day, good competitive rates and excellent quality of materials he used, i.e. fencing, posts etc. Would employ him again no hesitation and recommend him.He is family, so could have been awkward if all went wrong but I had every faith in his honesty, integrity and workmanship etc.

excellent result and pleasant manner 5 We asked David to paint our bathroom and front door. He did an excellent job, very neat and tidy. Beautiful end result. We had chosen an oil based paint for the front door that went completely wrong. David helpfully suggested another paint and did the front door again for us. We will be using David again in the future and will recommend him to anyone looking for a good and knowledgeable handyman for small and bigger jobs.
