This entry level position will be predominately office based. There will be opportunities to travel and meet existing, and new clients as well as attending trade fairs and market events. Your work input will have a direct and positive impact on the future of the business. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of domestic and international companies with an FX exposure, presenting a professional image of the company to key decision makers. You will be expanding your personal market knowledge, becoming up to date with new FX products, introducing and tailoring risk management and FX products to clients, introducing global payment solutions to new clients and maintaining a relationship with current clients. You will learn what it means to be employed in a 360 role, covering front, middle and back-office roles as your client base increases. You will learn the basics of the Forex market: understanding what is meant by terms such as “spot”, “forward” and be able to converse in the language of Forex. You will learn to oversee client’s international payments and receipts and ensure they are processed timely, accurately and within daily cut-off times. You will investigate internal and external queries providing updates to clients and escalations. You will be involved with overseeing daily reporting and reconciliation tasks for clients trades and payments. As you will be working in an FCA regulated environment you will increase your knowledge of KYC and AML procedures. You will learn resilience and a target-driven approach conducted in a time-management approach. You will become a confident, professional and engaging individual. You will receive full training and development towards a senior broker role whereby all of the above will stand you in good stead for a future in industry. At this point you will be confident and competent in all aspects of the role including using our dedicated online platform to execute client trades and market orders.
